Privacy
Vowchy collects the minimum information needed to create a trust profile, verify email ownership, and moderate abuse. In the current beta this includes account details, profile content, vouch submissions, reports, analytics events, and system logs.
What we store
- Email addresses for authentication, notifications, and moderation follow-up.
- Profile data such as display name, handle, location, trust contexts, and photo.
- Vouch content, report content, and moderation history.
- Operational signals like request IDs, IP addresses, and device fingerprints.
Why we store it
The product depends on auditability. Trust signals without abuse controls are easy to manipulate, so Vowchy retains enough data to investigate fake vouches, spam, and impersonation.
Beta status
This policy is a working beta version. Before public launch, Vowchy should be updated with production retention periods, data access and deletion flows, subprocessors, and contact details for privacy requests.
